Do I need any technical knowledge to use the app? +
None. The app is designed for normal people, not IT professionals. If you can use a website, you can use the app. We handle all the technical setup and train your team before handoff.
Who owns the data and the app? +
You own everything. Your data lives in your own Google account or Microsoft 365 tenant — DamWorks never has access to it. Once the project closes, the app is yours and you can run it independently.
Are there monthly fees after I pay the setup cost? +
No monthly fees from DamWorks. You may already be paying for Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 — the app runs on that. Netlify hosting (Google Edition) has a free tier that covers most small businesses. No new subscriptions required.
How long does the build take? +
Typically 2–4 weeks from signed agreement to testing handoff, depending on scope and how quickly the intake questionnaire is returned. Complex configurations with many custom templates may take slightly longer.
What if I need changes after the project closes? +
Minor changes during the 30-day testing period are included. After close, a 30-day support period is included for questions and guidance. Anything beyond that — new features, integrations, or architectural changes — is available as a change order at our then-current rate.
Is this right for my industry? +

What's the difference between the Google and Microsoft editions? +
The core features are identical. The difference is the infrastructure: the Google Edition stores data in Google Sheets and Drive, while the Microsoft Edition uses SharePoint. If your team already uses Microsoft 365, go Microsoft. If you're on Gmail and Google Drive, go Google. Not sure? We'll help you decide on our first call.
