DamWorks LLC ("DamWorks," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through our website at damworksllc.com, how we use and store it, and the choices you have. We keep this short and plain-spoken on purpose.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect information that you give us directly. When you submit our contact form, you provide some or all of the following:

• Name — first and last name
• Email address
• Phone number (optional)
• Business name
• Message content — anything you choose to write about your business and what you're trying to solve

We do not ask for and do not want any sensitive information (such as financial account numbers, government IDs, or health information) through the contact form. Please don't send it.

2. How Your Information Is Stored

Contact form submissions are processed through two services:

• Netlify Forms — our website host, which captures and stores the form submission so we can read it.
• Google Apps Script — a Google-hosted script that delivers the submission into our internal lead-tracking system (Google Sheets and Google Drive, on DamWorks-controlled accounts).

Both services are operated under industry-standard security controls. We rely on their underlying infrastructure and do not host a separate database of our own.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you submit for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry and, if it leads to a project, to communicate with you about that engagement. Specifically:

• To reply to your message by email or phone
• To schedule a discovery call, if you request one
• To prepare a proposal or scope document related to the work you've asked about

4. We Do Not Sell or Share Your Information

We do not sell your information. We do not rent it. We do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes. The only third parties that touch your data are the infrastructure providers we use to receive and store the form submission (Netlify and Google), and only as needed to deliver it to us.

We will not add you to a marketing list or newsletter unless you specifically ask to be added.

5. Data Retention

We retain contact form submissions for as long as is reasonably necessary to follow up on your inquiry and, if applicable, to maintain records of an engagement. In practice:

• If your inquiry does not lead to a project, we retain it for up to 24 months and then delete it.
• If your inquiry leads to a project, we retain the related correspondence and records for the duration of the engagement and for a reasonable period afterward, consistent with business and tax recordkeeping needs.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner — see Section 7.

6. Website Analytics

We plan to use Google Analytics on this website (once enabled) to understand aggregate site traffic — for example, how many people visit each page and which sources sent them. Google Analytics may set cookies and collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device, referring page, and pages viewed. This data is used in aggregate; we do not use it to identify individual visitors.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by disabling cookies in your browser.

7. Your Choices and Deletion Requests

You can request that we delete the information you submitted at any time, and we will do so within a reasonable timeframe (typically within 30 days) unless we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or contractual reasons.

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you submit, including using HTTPS for site traffic and relying on the security practices of the infrastructure providers listed above. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we treat your information carefully and limit access to it.

9. Children's Privacy

This website is intended for business inquiries from adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be flagged on this page.

11. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States.
